Seer Press publishes independent authors — standalone titles in literary and dark fiction. Two series so far, nine books out now. One instinct behind all of them: pay attention to what’s actually happening.
Small, independent, and built around series rather than one-offs.
Seer Press is the book imprint of Institute for Seer LLC, based in the United States. The company is a media business built around books, the authors who write them, and the audiences who find them — publishing first, with video and audio, author events, and press work built around the same catalog. Everything we have released to date is a book, and the imprint is where the work starts.
We publish independent authors writing standalone titles in literary and dark fiction. Every book we publish is designed to be read on its own — no required order, no cliffhanger dependency on a title you haven’t bought.
Our two series share a spine: someone notices something they aren’t supposed to notice, and the noticing costs them. In Seer Warns that plays out as adult psychological drama, where the dread is in the arithmetic. In Seer Frights it plays out as horror for eight-year-olds, where the dread is in the dark at the end of the hall.
Everything you see is ours — the writing, the cover art, the interiors, the copy. We don’t license and we don’t white-label. We ship under our own name.
Original fiction by independent voices. Currently publishing B. Carter; open to other writers.

We’re actively reading. If you write literary or dark fiction and think in series rather than single titles, we want to hear from you.
More voices, standalone titles. We’re open to other independent authors working in literary and dark fiction.
Editorial review, cover and interior design, and interior typesetting. We take a manuscript to a finished book and put our name on it.
Series sites, catalog placement, cover assets, and press support. Every title we publish gets a real page and a real launch.
We plan with you for book two before book one ships. A standalone title is welcome, but we’re looking for writers with an arc in mind.
Send sample chapters, a project description, and a sense of the series arc to authors@i4seer.com. We read everything that arrives.
