Independent publishing with a long view.

Books that stand on their own. Series that can grow without losing their identity. Publishing infrastructure that stays out of the reader’s way.

The press

Small, independent, and built around finished books.

Seer Press is the book imprint of Institute for Seer LLC, based in the United States. The company is built around books, the authors who write them, and the audiences who find them—publishing first, with series sites, press work, and other media growing from the catalog.

We publish original fiction across different audiences and tones. Each series is given its own visual system and dedicated site so the publisher can grow without forcing every story into the same template.

Author · current roster

B. Carter

B. Carter writes across fantasy and horror, building stories around strange rules, impossible situations, and the people who have to live with them.

A Native American computer engineer and veteran with a PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, he brings a builder’s curiosity to every story: How does this world work? What happens when one rule changes? What would a real person do next?

For authors

More voices. Strong series. Finished books.

We’re open to independent writers working in literary and dark fiction, especially writers who think beyond a single title.

01

Publishing & editorial

Editorial review, revision, cover and interior design, and typesetting from manuscript to finished book.

02

Marketing & press

Series sites, catalog positioning, launch pages, and press support without unnecessary duplication.

03

Series planning

Standalone books are welcome; when there is a larger arc, we want the system to support it from the start.
