100 WORDS

Institute for Seer LLC (i4Seer) is an independent publisher and technology studio. We publish three horror fiction series by author B. Carter: Seer Frights (middle-grade horror with buildable devices), Seer Warns (adult literary horror about people who receive warnings they cannot doubt), and Seer Fairies (dark fae horror for upper MG / lower YA). SHORT BIO

B. Carter is a Native American computer engineer, veteran, and horror writer. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He writes the Seer Frights, Seer Warns, and Seer Fairies series for Institute for Seer LLC.

LONG BIO

B. Carter is a Native American computer engineer, veteran, rock collector, hiker, and lifelong reader of adventure books, manga, and comics. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. When he is not writing, he is hiking with a backpack full of sensors, seeing what happens when circuits meet the real world. His Seer Frights middle-grade horror series started because he thought the best scary stories are the ones where you can build the thing that scared you. His Seer Warns adult literary series is about ordinary people who receive warnings so precise they cannot be doubted. His Seer Fairies series is about ancient European fae waking in American towns where the rules have been forgotten. He also builds SEER Tick, the IoT platform that grew out of the hardware in the books.
